Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 13, 2026

This is a personal website. It exists so that I can write and you can read. I collect as little as possible and treat what I do collect with care. For privacy purposes, I (Jacqueline Boylhart) am the person responsible for this site, and you can reach me at jacqueline@nhvllc.co.

What I collect. When you visit, my website host (Squarespace) automatically gathers standard technical information such as your browser type, device, general location, and the pages you view. If you join my writing list or send a message through a contact form, I also receive what you give me directly, such as your name and email address.

Why I am allowed to use it. I use technical data to run and improve the site, which is my legitimate interest in knowing whether anyone is reading. I send writing only to people who have asked for it, based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. I use contact form information to reply to you. Non-essential cookies are used only with your consent where the law requires it.

How I use it. To operate and improve the site, to send writing you have requested, and to respond when you write to me. I do not use this information for any other purpose without telling you.

Sharing. I do not sell your personal information, and I do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. I share it only with the service providers that help me run the site, such as my website host and email platform, who process it on my behalf and under contract.

Where your data goes. My service providers may store and process information in the United States and elsewhere. Where information is transferred out of your region, it is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the standard contractual clauses those providers maintain.

How long I keep it. I keep contact and mailing list information for as long as you remain subscribed or until you ask me to delete it. Technical and analytics data is retained only for as long as it is useful for understanding site traffic.

Cookies. This site uses cookies and similar technologies, mostly through Squarespace, to keep the site working and to measure visits. You can adjust your browser to refuse cookies, and I honor recognized opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control where applicable.

Your choices and rights. You can unsubscribe from my writing list at any time using the link in any message. You may also ask me to show you what information I hold, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its use, or to provide it in a portable form, by writing to jacqueline@nhvllc.co. I will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, the CCPA and other US state privacy laws, PIPEDA, or the LGPD, and I will honor those. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

AI. I do not use your personal information to train artificial intelligence models, and I do not feed messages or subscriber details into AI tools. Any AI features offered by my service providers operate under their own terms, and they do not use your data to train their models on my behalf. I also do not authorize AI developers, scrapers, or automated systems to collect or use the writing published on this site to train or develop AI models.

Younger readers. This site is meant for adults. It is not directed to children, and I do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, write to me and I will delete it.

Security. I take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Changes. If this policy changes, I will update the date above.

Contact. Questions about privacy can be sent to jacqueline@nhvllc.co.line@nhvllc.co. Alternatively, mail to: NHVLLC 1606 Headway Circle STE 9180 Austin, TX 78754.
